The 11th Annual Silmaril Awards Are Returning!

Hear ye! Hear ye!

The longest-running Fantasy Book Character awards are returning this September for their 11th year in a row!

For those new to the blog and the Silmaril Awards, who may be scratching your heads in confusion… the Silmaril Awards are a prestigious process whereby fantasy book characters are nominated by their readers and then voted upon by the masses into the Silmaril Hall of Fame.

It’s kind of like the Oscars… but for Fantasy Book Characters.

And the nominations and voting is all done by YOU, their readers and fans!

So get your character lists ready, because on Monday, September 7th, the nominations will open for the following categories:

Most Epic Hero
Most Epic Heroine
Most Faithful Friend
Most Devoted Couple
Most Magnificent Dragon
Most Nefarious Villain
Wisest Counselor
Silver Tongue
Strangest Character
Most Rakish Rogue (this year’s brand new category!)

On Monday, I’ll reveal which set of characters I will be hosting this year, along with a few other fun surprises, and links to all the other hosts and where you can nominate your favorites!
