Hearts of Stone and Steel is a semi-finalist in the Reader’s Choice awards over at Realm Makers. This is the fan-nominated, fan-voted portion of the Realm Awards where YOU, dear Reader, get to make your voice heard and declare what the best book of 2024 was in YOUR opinion!

And so many of you nominated Hearts of Stone and Steel that it made it onto the official list of semi-finalists!

To say that I am blown away, flabbergasted, and deeply, deeply honored would be to make the understatement of the year.

I don’t think of myself as a “big name.” I’m not “popular” (never have been). I’m still a little dazzled by the idea that more than a handful of people (all related to me, of course) have even read any of my books.

But you all stepped up in such a huge way last month. And I am so very grateful.
